MN Permit to Carry Class

Class starts at 9:00 AM and lasts about 4-5 hours and will be held at the Stock and Barrel Gun Club in Eagan.

The cost for the class is $75.00 for a new Minnesota permit or $50.00 for a renewal Minnesota permit. An additional fee of $20.00 to include the Florida permit. There will be a range fee of $20.00 in addition to the classroom fees. To qualify for the renewal price, you must have a current and valid Minnesota carry permit. Your payment covers classroom and materials but does not include the cost payable to the sheriff’s office for the county in which you reside. 

The classroom fees can be paid by cash, check, or credit card; however, the range fee must be cash.

Following the classroom, we will go to the firearms range for the required live fire qualification. Please bring the firearm you wish to qualify with and at least 100 rounds of ammunition. If you do not have a firearm, please let us know and we will have a pistol for you to use. Firearms and ammunition are not allowed in the classroom.

Also bring eye protection, if you do not wear glasses, and hearing protection.
